Passionate about politics

For more than 17 years I have been working as a political consultant advising companies, associations and organisations on politics and helping them to represent their interests. A native German, I have lived and worked over these years in Brussels, Washington D.C. and Berlin and I am now based in London. My focus lies in explaining German and EU politics to international clients. I see my role as one of a translator and bridge builder between business and politics as well as between different (political) cultures.

I love my work as I am fascinated by politics and enjoy helping you navigate this complex system to others. It never gets boring as politics never gets boring and I work with so many different people and different companies and so many different issues. I also love the strategic aspect of my work.

Throughout my career the environmental impacts of business always played an important role – be it working on innovative transport solutions, waste management, infrastructure projects or for industrial and energy companies. Helping companies and politics tackle the challenge of climate change together is something I am currently engaged in.

As I am a true believer in lifelong learning, I am at the moment taking classes at the University of Cambridge on Business Sustainability and – another aspect of ESG I am passionate about – Diversity and Inclusion.

I have been active in empowering women in business for many years – as a co-founder of de’ge’pol W, the network for female political consultants in Germany, as a board member of WIL – Women in Leadership Europe and as a mentor at MentorMe, a mentoring network for women. In addition to this, I am also working doing volunteer work on anti-racism training in education.

I am married with two sons. In my free time I love to explore the UK with my family in our vintage VW campervan, stroll over flea markets and through antique shops and look for outdoor swimming spots.
